Turkish-Style Pide Noodle Soup
A hearty and comforting soup made with Turkish spices, pide noodles, and a hint of malty sweetness.
Ingredients

- ●2 tbsp xtra-virgin olive oilfor sautéing
- ●1 tsp malty brown sugarfor added depth
- ●1 medium onionchopped
- ●3 cloves garlicminced
- ●1 tsp turkish red pepper flakesoptional, for heat
- ●4 cups vegetable brothlow sodium
- ●1 tsp dried thymefresh thyme optional
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Add the Turkish red pepper flakes, if using, and cook for 1 minute.

Add the vegetable broth, malty brown sugar, and dried thyme. Stir to combine.
