Lamb Tagine with Xtra Crust
A hearty North African-inspired dish featuring tender lamb and a crunchy xtra crust. Perfect for a special occasion.
Ingredients
- ●1.5 pounds Lambcut into 1-inch pieces
- ●1 cup Xtracoarsely chopped
- ●1/2 cup Nuttychopped
- ●2 tablespoons Canadianolive oil
- ●2 tablespoons Tagineras el hanout spice blend
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large bowl, mix together the lamb, xtra, and nutty.

Drizzle the Canadian with olive oil over the lamb mixture and toss to coat.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the lamb mixture to a large Dutch oven or oven-safe pot.

Add the tagine (ras el hanout spice blend) and stir to combine.

Cover the pot with a lid and transfer to the preheated oven.

Bake for 25 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 300°F (150°C) and continue baking for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the lamb is tender.
