Thai Salmon Braise
A flavorful Thai-inspired salmon dish, braised in a rich and savory sauce.
Ingredients
- β4 salmon fillet6 oz each
- β2 tbsp coconut oil
- β2 inches gingerpeeled and sliced
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 tbsp fish sauce
- β1 tsp brown sugar
- β1 tsp soy sauce
- β1 tsp rice vinegar
- β2 bay leaves

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.

Heat the coconut oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Sear the salmon fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side, then set aside.

Add the sliced ginger and minced garlic to the pot and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the fish sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, and rice vinegar to the pot, stirring to combine.

Add the bay leaves and the seared salmon fillets to the pot.
