German Quesadilla
A twist on the classic quesadilla with a German-inspired cheese and meat combination.
Ingredients
- ●4 Quesadilla tortilla
- ●12 oz German sausagePre-cooked and sliced
- ●8 oz CheeseA mix of cheddar and mozzarella
- ●4 oz X-tra cheeseExtra sharp cheddar, shredded
- ●1 cup Gooey cheese sauceHomemade or store-bought

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Slice the German sausage into thin rounds.

3. In a large skillet, sauté the sliced sausage over medium heat until lightly browned.

4. In a separate pan, warm the quesadilla tortillas over medium heat for 30 seconds on each side.

5. Place a tortilla in the pan and sprinkle with German sausage, cheese, and x-tra cheese.

6. Fold the tortilla in half and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is crispy.

7. Flip the quesadilla and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the other side is also crispy.

8. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling ingredients.

9. Cut the quesadillas into wedges and serve hot with gooey cheese sauce for dipping.
