Spicy Beef Pho
A flavorful and spicy Vietnamese noodle soup made with tender beef and a rich broth.
Ingredients
- β1 pound beef shincut into 2-inch pieces
- β4 cups xtra beef brothlow sodium
- β2 tablespoons vietnamese pho spice mix
- β1 tablespoon spicy saucesuch as sriracha
- β1 tablespoon fish sauce
- β1 tablespoon soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon brown sugar
- β1 pound rice noodles
- β1 cup bean sprouts
- β1/4 cup fresh cilantro

Bring the beef broth to a boil in a large pot.

Add the pho spice mix, spicy sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar to the pot.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

While the broth is simmering, cook the rice noodles according to package instructions.

Add the beef shin to the pot and cook for 10-15 minutes or until tender.

Add the cooked noodles and bean sprouts to the pot.

Slice the beef into thin strips and add to the pot.

Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
