Thai Pork Pad Thai
A classic stir-fry dish from Thailand, made with pork, rice noodles, and a sweet and sour sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound porkthinly sliced
- β1 cup folded rice noodlescooked according to package
- β2 tablespoons xtra virgin olive oil
- β1 sweet red bell peppersliced
- β1 teaspoon xanthan gumoptional
- β1/4 cup pad thai sauce
- β1/4 cup thai basilchopped
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced pork and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the pork from the wok and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the wok.

Add the sliced sweet red bell pepper and cook until tender, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the cooked rice noodles to the wok and stir to combine with the vegetables.

Add the cooked pork back into the wok and stir to combine.

Add the pad thai sauce and stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

Stir in the chopped thai basil.
