Treme Feta Quesadilla
A twist on the classic quesadilla, this recipe incorporates the flavors of New Orleans with a tangy feta cheese and crispy crunch.
Ingredients
- β8 oz Feta cheese
- β4-6 Quesadilla tortillawhole wheat or corn tortillas
- β1/4 cup Fresh cilantrochopped
- β1/2 cup Red onionthinly sliced
- β4 leaves Crisp lettuce
- β1 tsp Treme spice blend
Instructions

Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Shred the feta cheese and set aside.

In a small bowl, mix together the treme spice blend, red onion, and chopped cilantro.

Place a tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle a quarter of the feta cheese on half of the tortilla.

Top with the treme spice blend mixture and fold the tortilla in half.

Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese is melted.

Flip the quesadilla and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
