Lamb Leg with Mediterranean Crust
A flavorful and aromatic lamb leg dish with a crispy Mediterranean crust, perfect for a special occasion.
Ingredients
- β1 (1.5-2 kg) lamb legbone-in, skin-on
- β1 tsp yeastyactive dry yeast
- β1 tsp mediterraneanherb and spice blend
- β1/4 cup aeratedbubbly bread crumbs
- βpreheated to 425F (220C) bake

Preheat the oven to 425F (220C).

Rinse the lamb leg and pat dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, mix together yeast, mediterranean blend, and 1 tsp olive oil.

Rub the mixture all over the lamb leg, making sure to coat evenly.

Place the lamb leg in a roasting pan and sprinkle with aerated bread crumbs.

Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Reduce heat to 375F (190C) and continue roasting for an additional 20-25 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 145F (63C).
