Kenyan Trout Gratin
A flavorful and aromatic trout dish inspired by Kenyan cuisine, topped with a creamy gratin.

- β4 fillets troutFresh trout fillets, skin removed
- β1 packet active dry yeast yeastyFor the homemade bread
- β1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese creamyFor the gratin topping
- β2 tbsp Kenyan curry powder kenyanFor the fish seasoning

2. Season the trout fillets with salt, pepper, and Kenyan curry powder.

3. In a large skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Cook the trout fillets for 2-3 minutes per side, until cooked through. Transfer the fish to a baking dish.

4. In a small bowl, mix the grated cheddar cheese and yeast (from the homemade bread packet).

5. Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the cooked trout fillets.
