Canadian Poutine Casserole
A twist on the classic Canadian comfort food, this casserole combines the crispy fries and squeaky cheese curds with a yeasty, fluffy twist.

- β2 cups flour
- β1 cup, diced vegetables (carrots, onions, bell peppers)
- β2 cups, crushed french fries
- β1 cup vegetarian cheese curds
- β1 packet poutine gravy mix
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- 2
In a large bowl, combine yeast and warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- 3
Add flour, salt, and sugar to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
- 4
Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- 5
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 6
After the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle.
- 7
Spread the crushed french fries evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- 8
Sprinkle the diced vegetables, cheese curds, and poutine gravy mix over the fries.
- 9
Roll the dough into a tight log, starting from the long side.
- 10
Cut the log into 1-inch thick slices and place them in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- 11
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- 12
Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
