Irish Vermicelli Bowl
A hearty and comforting Irish-inspired vermicelli bowl made with tender beef and served in a bowl with a side of steamed rice.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground Beef80% lean
- β1 cup Vermicelli Noodlesdried
- β1 medium Onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
- β2 tablespoons All-purpose Flour
- β2 cups Beef Brothhomemade or store-bought
- β1 cup Riceuncooked
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

Cook the rice according to package instructions.

In a large pan over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the tomato paste and flour to the pan and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually add the beef broth to the pan, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions.

To assemble the bowls, place a scoop of cooked rice in the bottom of a bowl, followed by a scoop of the beef and noodle mixture.
