Classic Dutch Lasagna
A twist on the Italian classic with Dutch influences. Layers of cheese and lasagna noodles are baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- ●8-10 sheets Lasagna noodles
- ●1 cup Dutch cheese blendA mix of Gouda, Edam and Havarti
- ●1 large Yellow onions
- ●3 cloves Garlic
- ●1/4 cup Fresh parsley
- ●1 cup Citrusy tomato sauceMade with lemon juice and zest

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, sauté onions and garlic until softened.

Add citrusy tomato sauce and bring to a simmer.

In a separate saucepan, melt Dutch cheese blend over low heat.

In a large baking dish, create a layer of tomato sauce.

Arrange 4 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.

Spread half of the cheese mixture over the noodles.

Repeat the layers, starting with the noodles, then the sauce, and finally the cheese.

Top with parsley and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown.
