Creamy Paneer Tikka
A popular Indian dish made with marinated paneer cooked in a creamy sauce, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β250g Paneer
- β1 tsp Yellow Curry Powderadjust to taste
- β1 cup Heavy Cream
- β1 tsp Garam Masalaadjust to taste
- β1 tsp Salt
- β2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- β2-inch piece Ginger
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β2 tbsp Butter

1. In a large bowl, whisk together curry powder, garam masala, salt, ginger, and garlic.

2. Add the paneer to the marinade and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the paneer from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

4. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet and cook the paneer until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

5. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

6. Add the cooked paneer back to the skillet and stir to coat with the creamy sauce.

7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.

8. Serve the creamy paneer tikka hot, garnished with lemon wedges if desired.
