Crunchy Italian Fritters
Delicious crunchy Italian fritters made with hazelnut and a hint of spices.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Hazelnutschopped
- β2 cups Italian Breadcubed
- β1/2 cup Yellow Cheeseshredded
- β1/2 cup Crunchy Topping (bread crumbs)
- β2 Eggs
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper
- βfor frying Olive Oil

Preheat the oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

In a bowl, mix together the cubed Italian bread, shredded yellow cheese, chopped hazelnuts and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add them to the bread mixture. Mix well.

Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls and coat them with crunchy topping (bread crumbs).

Once the oil is hot, carefully place the fritters in the oil and fry until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side).

Drain the fritters on paper towels and serve hot.
