Dutch Stew with Spicy Nduja
A hearty and flavorful Dutch stew made with tender beef, spicy nduja sausage, and root vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Stew meat (beef)cut into 1-inch cubes
- β1/2 pound Nduja sausagesliced
- β1 medium Yellow onionchopped
- β2 medium Dense carrotspeeled and chopped
- β2 large Dutch potatoespeeled and chopped
- β2 cups Beef broth
- β1 cup Red wine
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the beef in batches until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Add the sliced nduja sausage to the pot and cook until browned, about 3 minutes.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the chopped carrots and potatoes, beef broth, red wine, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Return the browned beef to the pot and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, until the beef is tender, about 2 1/2 hours.
