Crispy Banana Fritters
A sweet Chinese dessert made with sliced bananas, deep-fried to perfection.
Ingredients
- β2 Bananas
- β1 cup All-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- β1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- β1/2 cup Vegetable oil
- β1 Eggs
- β1/4 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- βa few drops Yellow food coloring

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and baking powder.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and vanilla extract.

Add the yellow food coloring to the egg mixture and stir well.

Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and stir until just combined.

Peel the bananas and slice them into 1-inch pieces.

Dip each banana piece into the batter, coating it completely.

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

When the oil is hot, add a few banana fritters to the pan (do not overcrowd).

Fry the banana fritters for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
