Tofu Stir Fry
A quick and easy Chinese-inspired dish made with crispy tofu and a variety of vegetables, all cooked to perfection in a savory sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 block (14 oz) tofu
- β1 yellow bell pepper
- β3 cloves garlic
- β1/4 cup (shredded) american cheeseoptional
- β1/4 cup stir-fry sauce
- β1/2 cup fry onions
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.

Add another tablespoon of oil to the skillet, then add the sliced yellow bell pepper and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, until fragrant.

Add the stir-fry sauce and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

Return the tofu to the skillet and stir to combine with the sauce.

Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
