Spanish Chicken Paella
A classic Spanish dish made with chicken, saffron-infused rice, and vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken breast
- β1 medium Yellow onion
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1 cup Spanish rice
- β2 cups Chicken broth
- β1 medium Tomato
- β2 tablespoons Paella pan oil
- β1/2 teaspoon Saffron threads
- β1/4 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- β1/2 teaspoon Salt

Heat the paella pan oil in a large paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the rice to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add the chicken broth, tomato, saffron, smoked paprika, and salt to the pan.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
