Classic British Sausage Mash

- ●2 Yellow Onions
- ●3-4 Mash Potatoes
- ●1 Smoky Pepperoptional
- ●2 tbsp And Butterunsalted

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and boil the mash potatoes until tender.

While the potatoes are cooking, heat a tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the British sausages and cook until browned on all sides.

Remove the sausages from the skillet and set aside.

Reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining butter to the skillet.

Add the yellow onions and cook until softened.

Add the smoky pepper, if using, and cook for an additional minute.

Return the sausages to the skillet and simmer until cooked through.
