Spicy Syrian Salmon Pilaf
A flavorful and aromatic pilaf dish from Syria, featuring spicy salmon as the main ingredient.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Yellow Ricepreferably day-old rice
- β2 tsp Spicy Syrian Pilaf Seasoningadjust to taste
- β4 oz Salmon Filletskin removed, cut into 1-inch pieces
- β2 tbsp Olive Oilfor cooking
- β1 small Red Onionchopped
- β1/4 cup Fresh Parsleychopped

Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the salmon and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil to the skillet and cook the chopped red onion until translucent.

Stir in the spicy Syrian pilaf seasoning and cook for 1 minute.

Add the yellow rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the onion and spice mixture.

Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the rice is lightly toasted.
