Eastern Tuna Salad Bowl
A refreshing Middle Eastern-inspired tuna salad served in a bowl, topped with creamy labneh and a zesty kick.
Ingredients
- β1 large Yellow Cucumber
- β1/2 Zesty Red Pepper
- β1 can (240g) Tuna Canned in Waterdrained and flaked
- β1/2 cup Labneh Yogurt
- β1 slice Eastern-Style Pita Bread
- β1/4 cup pitted Middle Eastern Olives
- β1/4 cup chopped Eastern-Style Pickled Turnips

In a large bowl, combine the flaked tuna, chopped cucumber, and red pepper.

In a small bowl, mix together the labneh and a squeeze of lemon juice.

Add the labneh mixture to the tuna mixture and stir to combine.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Just before serving, top the salad with chopped olives and pickled turnips.

Serve chilled, garnished with pita bread croutons if desired.
