Turkish Pide Recipe
A traditional Turkish dish made with a flaky pastry crust, perfect for a delicious breakfast or snack.
Ingredients
- β1 sheet Turkish pastry dough (homemade or store-bought)
- β2 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
- β1 cup Water
- β1/4 teaspoon Salt
- β1 tablespoon Sugar
- β1 egg 1 egg, beaten
- β1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- β1/4 cup 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the pastry dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, water, salt, and sugar.

Brush the mixture evenly over the pastry dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Sprinkle the beaten egg, parsley, and feta cheese over the pastry dough.

Fold the edges of the pastry dough up over the filling, pressing gently to seal.
