Peruvian Beef Wrap
A flavorful Peruvian-inspired wrap filled with seasoned beef and topped with a refreshing slaw.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Beef kidneySlice into thin strips
- β1 medium Yellowed onionDiced
- β4-6 Peruvian wrapLarge flour tortilla
- β1/2 pound BeefThinly sliced
- β2 tablespoons Lime juiceFreshly squeezed
- β1 teaspoon CuminGround
- β1/2 teaspoon Chili powderGround
- β1/4 teaspoon SaltGround
- β1/4 teaspoon Black pepperGround

1. In a large bowl, whisk together lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.

2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

3. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

4. Remove the beef from the marinade and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

5. While the beef is cooking, grill the sliced onion for 2-3 minutes per side, or until slightly charred.

6. Warm the Peruvian wraps by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

7. Assemble the wraps by slicing the cooked beef into thin strips and placing it on a wrap, followed by a few slices of grilled onion and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
