Portuguese Stewed Cod
A hearty and flavorful stew originating from Portugal, featuring cod as the main ingredient. This dish is perfect for a cold evening meal.
Ingredients

- β 2 medium yellow onionsChopped
- β 3 cloves garlicMinced
- β 1 cup portuguese stewHomemade or store-bought
- β 1 cup waterOr fish stock for added flavor
- β 1 teaspoon dried thymeFresh or dried
- β Salt and pepperTo taste

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the chopped onions and cook until they are translucent, about 5 minutes.
