Turkish Lamb Koftas
Delicious Turkish-style lamb koftas, flavored with traditional spices and baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- ●500g lamb mince
- ●1 medium, finely chopped onion
- ●3 cloves, minced garlic
- ●100g quick oats
- ●2 tsp turkish spice mix
- ●1 tsp salt
- ●1 tsp black pepper
- ●2, sliced yellow peppers
- ●2 tbsp olive oil

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).

In a large bowl, combine lamb mince, onion, garlic, oats, spice mix, salt, and pepper. Mix well with hands until just combined.

Thread lamb mixture onto skewers, leaving a small gap between each kofta.

Place skewers on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, drizzle with olive oil and spread out in a single layer.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through to an internal temperature of 63°C (145°F).

While koftas are baking, brush yellow peppers with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the peppers are tender and slightly charred.

Serve koftas with roasted yellow peppers and your choice of sides.
