Russian Mushroom Pilaf
A classic Russian dish made with sautéed mushrooms, pilaf, and a hint of Russian flair.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup mushroomany variety, sliced
- ●1 cup pilafuncooked
- ●1 medium yellowed onionchopped
- ●2 tablespoons silky buttermelted
- ●to taste salt

Heat 1 tablespoon of silky butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the chopped yellowed onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the sliced mushroom and continue to sauté until tender, about 5-6 minutes.

Add the uncooked pilaf to the skillet and stir to combine with the mushroom and onion mixture.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cover the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the pilaf is cooked and fluffy.

Stir in the remaining 1 tablespoon of silky butter.
