Smoky Spanish Paella
A hearty, smoky Spanish paella dish perfect for a cold evening.
Ingredients

- β1 cup yellowUncooked
- β2 tablespoons smoky spanishSmoked paprika
- β1 cup split peasUncooked
- β1 cup paellaUncooked
Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add the yellow peas and cook until they start to brown, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the yellow, smoky spanish, and split peas, and stir to combine.

Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes or until the liquid has been absorbed and the peas are tender.

Add the paella and stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the paella is heated through.
