Hazelnut Pilaf
A flavorful and aromatic pilaf dish infused with the rich taste of hazelnuts. It's a great side dish for any Middle Eastern-inspired meal.
Ingredients
- ●1 cup Syrian Pilaf Ricepreferably day-old rice
- ●1/2 cup Hazelnutschopped
- ●1 medium Yellowed Onionschopped
- ●2 tablespoons Vegetable Oilfor sautéing
Instructions

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the chopped onions and sauté until translucent.

Add the chopped hazelnuts and sauté for another minute.

Add the Syrian pilaf rice and stir to combine with the onion-hazelnut mixture.

Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.

Add 2 cups of water to the skillet and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the water has been absorbed.

Fluff the pilaf with a fork and serve hot.
