Tunisian Yellow Tagine
A rich and vibrant yellow tagine made with creamy ingredients and a hint of Tunisian spices, perfect for a warm lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- β2 cups Yellow Fraischopped
- β2 tsp Tunisian Tagine Spice Blendavailable at most Middle Eastern markets
- β1 cup Fromagecrumbly
- β2 tbsp Olive Oilfor brushing
- β1 large Onionchopped
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β1/4 cup Almondschopped

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Brush the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish with olive oil.

Layer the yellow frais, fromage, and chopped almonds in the dish, finishing with a layer of frais on top.

Mix the Tunisian tagine spice blend, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the top of the dish.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned and the filling is heated through.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
