Pato Con Arroz
A classic Peruvian dish that combines the flavors of chicken, rice, and spices. This comforting meal is perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- β1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs chicken
- β1 cup uncooked white rice arroz
- β2 tablespoons pato (duck) fat
- β1 medium chopped onion onion
- β3 cloves minced garlic garlic
- β2 teaspoons Peruvian yellow pepper paste ajΓ amarillo
- β1 teaspoon salt
- β1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- β2 cups chicken broth

Heat the duck fat in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
