Spicy Jjim Dumplings with Onions and Pancake
A twist on traditional dumplings, these Spicy Jjim Dumplings are filled with a flavorful mixture of onions and pancake, then steamed to perfection.
Ingredients

- β1 cup rice flour pancakecrushed
- β2 tbsp jjim saucestore-bought or homemade
- β1 tsp vegetable oilfor brushing
- β1 tsp ginger pastefor flavor
- β1 tsp garlic pastefor flavor
- βto taste saltfor seasoning
- β2 green chilieschopped

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped onions, crushed pancake, jjim sauce, vegetable oil, ginger paste, garlic paste, and salt. Mix well.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and pliable.

Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out into thin circles.

Place a small spoonful of the onion-pancake mixture in the center of each circle.

Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges together to seal the dumpling.

Steam the dumplings for 10-12 minutes or until they are cooked through.
