Tart and Mushroom Wild Rice Bowl
A hearty bowl filled with wild rice, savory mushrooms, and a hint of tartness. This dish is perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Wild rice
- β1 cup, sliced MushroomAny variety, such as shiitake or cremini
- β2 tbsp, apple cider vinegar Tart
- β2 tbsp, olive oil Canadian
- βSalt and pepper, to taste Yummy
Instructions

Heat the Canadian (olive oil) in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the mushroom slices and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 5 minutes.

Add the wild rice to the saucepan and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add 2 cups of water to the saucepan and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 40-45 minutes, or until the rice is tender.

Stir in the tart (apple cider vinegar) and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the wild rice mixture hot, garnished with additional mushrooms if desired.
