Moroccan Lamb Tagine
A flavorful and aromatic tagine made with lamb, inspired by Moroccan cuisine. This dish is perfect for a cold winter evening.
Ingredients
- β1.5 lbs lamb shouldercut into 2-inch pieces
- β1 cup zesty olivespitted
- β1/2 cup creamy yogurtplain
- β3 cloves roast garlicminced
- β2 tsp cumin powderground
- β1 tsp coriander powderground
- β1 tsp saltto taste
- β1/2 tsp black pepperto taste

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the lamb pieces in batches until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute.

Add the olives, yogurt, and 1 cup of water. Stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a simmer, then cover the pot and transfer it to the oven.
