French-Style Beef Stew
A classic French-inspired beef stew made with tender beef and a rich, zesty broth. Perfect for a cold winter's night.
Ingredients

- β1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- β1 large carrot
- β2 stalks celery
- β1 teaspoon zesty mustard
- β1 cup red wine
- β2 cups beef broth
- β2 bay leaves
- β1 sprig thyme

Season the beef with salt and black pepper.

Dredge the beef in flour to coat.

Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the beef to the pot and sear until browned, about 5 minutes.
