Jamaican Cheese Tagine
A twist on the traditional Moroccan tagine, this dish combines the spices of Jamaica with the creaminess of cheese.
Ingredients
- β2 tsp zesty tagine spice blend
- β1 cup shredded indulgent cheese
- β1 tsp jamaican jerk seasoning
- β1 large, chopped onions
- β3 cloves, minced garlic
- β2 tbsp olive oil

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a small bowl, mix together the zesty tagine spice blend, jamaican jerk seasoning, and 1 tsp of olive oil.

In a large skillet, heat the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onions and cook until they're translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Stir in the cheese until it's melted and well combined with the onions and garlic.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Sprinkle the zesty tagine spice blend mixture evenly over the top of the cheese mixture.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
