Lamb Pilaf with a Zesty Twist
A flavorful and refreshing twist on traditional lamb pilaf, infused with the bold flavors of the Mediterranean.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Lamb shoulder
- ●1 cup Pilaf ricemedium-grain rice
- ●2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- ●2 tablespoons Olive oil
- ●2 cloves Garlic
- ●1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsley
- ● Salt and pepperto taste
- ●1 teaspoon Zesty seasoning

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the lamb shoulder with salt, pepper, and zesty seasoning.

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the lamb shoulder until browned on all sides.

Remove the lamb from the pot and set aside.

Add the garlic to the pot and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the pilaf rice to the pot and cook for 1-2 minutes, until lightly toasted.

Add 2 cups of water to the pot and stir to combine.

Return the lamb shoulder to the pot, cover, and transfer to the preheated oven.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the lamb is cooked through and the rice is tender.
