Sardine and Yorkshire Casserole
A hearty casserole filled with sardines and served over a bed of mashed Yorkshire, perfect for a comforting dinner.
Ingredients
- ●1 can (4 oz) Sardines in OilDrained and flaked
- ●1 loaf Yorkshire Tea BreadDiced
- ●2 tbsp ButterMelted
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black Pepper
- ●2 tbsp Chopped Fresh ParsleyOptional
- ●1 cup Zesty CheeseShredded

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a large skillet, sauté the diced Yorkshire bread in melted butter until lightly toasted.

3. Add the flaked sardines to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until heated through.

4. In a separate bowl, mix together the shredded Zesty Cheese and a pinch of salt and pepper.

5. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.

6. Add the cooked Yorkshire bread mixture to the baking dish.

7. Top with the sardine mixture and sprinkle with the Zesty Cheese mixture.

8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the casserole is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
