Beef Brisket Empanadas
A twist on traditional empanadas, filled with tender beef brisket and served with a side of zesty roasted sauce.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound beef brisketpreferably flat cut
- ●1 cup, torn into small pieces toastpreferably stale
- ●1 tablespoon brazilian seasoningor to taste

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the beef brisket with brazilian seasoning.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and sear the beef brisket until browned on both sides.

Transfer the beef to a baking dish and roast in the oven for 20 minutes.

While the beef is cooking, mix together the torn toast and zesty roasted (homemade or store-bought) sauce in a bowl.

Once the beef is done, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.

Assemble the empanadas by placing a slice of beef inside each pastry and serving with the toast-zesty sauce mixture on the side.
