Tunisian Cheese Tagine
A North African-inspired casserole with a rich blend of spices and melted cheese.
Ingredients
- β1 tablespoon Tunisian spice blend
- β1 cup, shredded Cheese
- β1 medium, diced Zesty red pepper
- β1 cup Cheese sauce
- β1 Tagine dish or 9x13 inch casserole
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β2 cloves, minced Garlic
- β1 medium, diced Tomato
- β2 sprigs Romantic rosemary thyme

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the diced red pepper and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Add the diced tomato and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Stir in the Tunisian spice blend and cook for 1 minute.

Transfer the mixture to a tagine dish or a 9x13 inch casserole.

Top with the shredded cheese and drizzle with the cheese sauce.

Transfer the dish to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish with rosemary sprigs and serve hot.
