Beef Tagine with Mediterranean Flair
A flavorful and aromatic stew inspired by North African cuisine, featuring tender ground beef and a rich Mediterranean sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 lb (450g) Ground Beef
- β2 tbsp (30ml) Zesty Olive Oil
- β1 large Silky Onionchopped
- β1 tsp (5g) Mediterranean Spicesmix of cumin, coriander, and paprika
- β2 tbsp (30g) Tagine Paste
- β1 cup (240ml) Chicken Broth
- β1 tbsp (15g) Honey
- β1/4 cup (15g) Fresh Parsleychopped

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the Mediterranean spices and cook for 1 minute.

Add the tagine paste and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
