Smoked Fish Stew
A hearty Portuguese-inspired stew featuring smoked fish and a hint of zesty flavor.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Smoked Fishpreferably cod or haddock
- ●1 pound Zesty Sausagesuch as linguiça
- ●2 medium Onionsdiced
- ●3-4 medium Potatoesdiced
- ●3 cloves Garlicminced
- ●1 can Tomatoesdiced
- ●4 cups Stew Brothchicken or vegetable broth
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black Pepper
Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the diced onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.

Add the smoked sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the diced tomatoes, stew broth, smoked fish, diced potatoes, salt, and black pepper.

Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley or cilantro if desired.
