Smoky Turkish Shrimp Pilaf
A flavorful and aromatic vegetarian pilaf dish with smoky notes, reminiscent of Turkish cuisine. Perfect as a side or main course.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Turkish pilaf
- β2 tsp Smoky paprikaFor added smokiness
- β2 tbsp Zesty lemon juice
- β1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsley
- β1 cup ShrimpImagined for a vegetarian version, replace with portobello mushrooms or eggplant
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the Turkish pilaf and stir to coat with oil.

Add the smoky paprika and stir for 1-2 minutes.

Add the zesty lemon juice and stir to combine.

Stir in the chopped parsley.

Add the shrimp (or portobello mushrooms or eggplant) and stir to combine.

Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the shrimp is pink and the pilaf is heated through.
