Turkish-Style Lamb Kofte
A flavorful and spicy lamb kofte recipe from Turkey, perfect for a quick dinner or lunch.

- β1 medium onionfinely chopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1/4 cup parsleychopped
- β1 tsp paprikasmoked
- β1 tsp cuminground
- β1 tsp saltto taste
- β1 tsp black pepperto taste
- β2 tbsp zestyTurkish red pepper flakes
- β1/4 cup bread crumbsplain

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well with your hands until just combined.

Add the Turkish red pepper flakes and mix until evenly distributed.

With your hands, shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm) in diameter. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Drizzle the meatballs with a little water, then sprinkle with bread crumbs. Gently roll the meatballs to coat evenly.

Bake the kofte in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and lightly browned on the outside.
