Turkish Ceviche Shrimp Salad
A twist on traditional ceviche, this salad combines the flavors of the Mediterranean with the freshness of Turkish spices and the zing of zesty lime juice.
Ingredients
- β1 pound shrimp
- β1 medium red onion
- β2 medium tomatodiced
- β1 medium cucumbersliced
- β2 tablespoons zesty lime juice
- β1 teaspoon turkish chili flakes
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1/4 cup fresh parsleychopped
- βto taste salt and pepper
Instructions

Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, red onion, tomato, cucumber, and garlic.

In a small bowl, whisk together the zesty lime juice and turkish chili flakes.

Pour the lime juice mixture over the shrimp mixture and toss to coat.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Just before serving, sprinkle the chopped parsley over the top.

Serve chilled, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
