Turkish Flatbread
A simple, crispy flatbread from Turkey, perfect as a side or base for various toppings.
Ingredients
- β2 cups plain flourall-purpose flour
- β1 cup waterwarm water
- β1 tsp salttable salt
- β1 turkish flatbreadoptional for wrapping

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.

2. Gradually add in the warm water, mixing until a dough forms.

3. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

5. Divide the dough into 2-4 equal pieces, depending on desired flatbread size.

6. Roll out each piece into a thin circle, about 1/8 inch thick.

7. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
