Japanese Crispy Duck Leg
A crispy Japanese inspired dish made with pan-seared duck leg and a crunchy topping.
Ingredients

- β1 cup Light Breadingpanko
- β1/2 cup Crumblepork-free
- β1/4 cup Bitter Chinese Saucestore-bought
- β2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Pepper

1. Rinse the duck leg and pat it dry.

2. Season the duck leg with salt and pepper.

3. Mix the light breading and crumble in a shallow dish.

4. Dip the duck leg in the breading mixture, coating it evenly.

5. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

6. Sear the duck leg for 5 minutes on each side, until crispy.

7. Transfer the duck leg to the oven and bake at 400Β°F (200Β°C) for 15-20 minutes, until cooked through.

8. Meanwhile, heat the bitter Chinese sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.

9. Brush the sauce over the duck leg during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
