Cheesy Empanadas
A classic Venezuelan dish filled with melted cheese and perfect for snacking. These crispy empanadas are easy to make and delicious.
Ingredients
- ●2 cups (250g) Buttery Empanada Dough
- ●1 cup (115g) Crumbly Cheese
- ●1 cup (115g) Venezuelan Empanada Filling
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the empanada dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch (3mm).

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.

Place a tablespoon of cheese in the center of each dough circle.

Fold the dough in half to form a half-circle and press the edges together to seal.

Use a fork to crimp the edges and create a decorative border.

Brush the tops of the empanadas with a little bit of butter.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
