Kenyan-Style Sirloin Steak
A flavorful and spicy Kenyan-inspired sirloin steak recipe, served with charred vegetables.
Ingredients
- β4 steaks, 1.5 pounds each Sirloin Steakpreferably ribeye or strip loin
- β1 cup Paellaused for spice blend
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oilfor grilling
- β1 large Onioncharred
- β2 large Bell Peppercharred
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 tablespoon Gingergrated
- β1 teaspoon Cuminground
- β1 teaspoon Corianderground
- β1/2 teaspoon Paprikasmoked
- βto taste Saltflaky sea salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Season the sirloin steaks with salt and black pepper.

Grill the sirloin steaks for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 130Β°F for medium-rare.

While the steaks are grilling, char the onion and bell pepper on the grill.

In a small bowl, mix together the paella, cumin, coriander, and paprika to make a spice blend.

Brush the grilled onion and bell pepper with olive oil and sprinkle with the spice blend.
