Beef Burger with Caramelized Onions
A classic Australian-style beef burger topped with caramelized onions and melted cheese. Perfect for a casual dinner or weekend lunch.

- β1 cup caramelized onionssee notes

- β1 australian bread roll
- β1 cup lettuce
- β1 cup tomato
- β2 tbsp mayonnaise
- β1 tbsp ketchup
- β salt
- β pepper

Preheat a non-stick pan to medium-high heat.

Form 4 beef burger patties and season with salt and pepper.

Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

While the patties are cooking, toast the bread roll in the oven at 350Β°F (180Β°C) for 2-3 minutes.

Caramelize the onions by cooking them in a pan with a small amount of oil over low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
