Pryazhki and Cranberry Chewy Cookies
A sweet treat that combines the chewy texture of Russian cookies with the tartness of cranberries.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 cups chewy russian cookiescrushed into fine crumbs
- β1 cup all-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup granulated sugar
- β1/4 cup brown sugar
- β2 large eggs
- β1 tsp vanilla extract
- β1 cup dried cranberrieschopped
- β1/2 cup unsalted buttersoftened

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.

Add the crushed chewy russian cookies, eggs, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.

Stir in the chopped cranberries and softened butter until well combined.

Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between each cookie.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
